Whatever the question, the answer is in the data.

The Tool Box

  • Excel and Google Sheets

There is no denying the value of a good spreadsheet.

Click the button below to get a glimpse of a project done in Excel. Working for the fictional banking company Pig E Bank, we look into building a decision tree to gauge customer retention.

It’s been converted to Google Sheets so you wont need to download anything!

  • Python

With a wealth of libraries and almost infinite flexibility there really is nothing like Python to dive deep into larger data sets.

Hop onto my Github page and take a look at a project where I dig into a data set from Airbnb in order to figure out a way to help guide Host pricing.

Visual exploration, Linear regression, Time series Analysis. It’s all there!

  • Tableau Presentation

Visualizations are a huge part of making data presentable and engaging.

In the link below is a video presentation for a data project with advice on how to staff for an upcoming Flu season. It features some demographic information along with important statistics, all delivered in a digestible and hopefully entertaining way.

  • Case Studies

A few quick summaries of the work I’ve done, along with links to the prjects!

Resume

I am a data analyst. Over the years, I learned plenty of valuable soft skills alongside technical ones. I work well in teams, as I’m inclined to get along with the people I work with. I know the world is not a solo endeavor and do my best to lean on and reinforce the strengths of the individuals within my team. I am quick to learn new things and enjoy doing so, alongside that I’m not afraid to admit when I do not know something and always seek out how to fill the gaps in my knowledge.

A life time of an insatiable appetite for find solutions to unanswered questions has led me to the world of data analysis. I find the work fascinating and enjoy solving people’s problems by sifting through the piles of data that come my way.

If you’re of a like mind, or interested in working with me, please contact me. I’d love the chance to work with you.
